SECTION 4. Duties of Officers-

The President shall preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors and the association, and shall be ex-officio member of all committees, and shall cosign all checks drawn on the account of the association.

 

The Vice-President shall serve in the absence of the president and shall perform such other duties as assigned by the president.

 

The Secretary shall be responsible for keeping an accurate record of all business of the association and for all outside correspondence of the association.

 

The Treasurer shall  be responsible for the association monies, and keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures. and shall co-sign all checks drawn on the account of the association.

 

The Members at Large shall form a standing committee responsible for nominating all elected officers, serve on the Board of Directors, and other responsibilities at the will of the president.

 

SECTION 5. Removal from office - Any officer may be removed from office for cause at any meeting by a two-thirds of the membership present providing that notice has been furnished to the general membership at least two (2) weeks prior to said meeting.

 

SECTION 6. Replacement of officers in vacant slots when necessary may be filled at any meeting by the board of directors for the unexpired portion of the term or as directed in Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised.

 

ARTICLE VIII – MEETINGS AND ORGANIZATION

 

Section 1. The meetings of the Association's general membership shall be held during the month of October for the purpose of election of officers and conducting the business of association.

 

Section 2. The meetings for the board of directors shall be held semi-monthly starting in the month fOllowing the general meeting.

 

Section 3. Any member may attend a board of directors meeting as an observer, and may introduce information to the board on any subject by contacting any Member at Large to have it introduced to the board.

 

Section 4. Special meetings may be called by the Board of Directors.

 

Section 5. The privilege of holding office, introducing motions, floor debate, and voting shall be limited to members of the association.
